MEDLAB3D®

The main objective is to provide our clients the ARCHIMEDES® guarantee that a product manufactured with 3D printing technology meets all the established safety and quality requirements.

Our commitment is based on an internal quality and inspection system, on-going team training and advanced process automation.

At ARCHIMEDES® we have developed MEDLAB3D® technology with the aim of giving our clients the option of fulfilling a true digital and integrated workflow.

Fit and precision also define MEDLAB3D®. Proof of this is the launch of medlab3Danalog, a revolution in 3D printing of dental models with implant replicas.

We use the most advanced 3D printing technology to achieve the same fit and precision results acquired with MEDMILL® and MEDSLM®.

The final product offered by MEDLAB3D® is the result of an intense R&D process in the previous phase of technology selection and in the subsequent development of the same to optimize its benefits to the maximum.

Titanium [Ti]

100-mm Ø disc, titanium based, with Al (aluminium) and Va (vanadium) components. Highly resistant to corrosion.

Its high oxygen content gives excellent mechanical properties.

Biocompatible material.

Manufactured under the ASTM F136 standard.

The maximum height of the rehabilitation must not exceed 18mm.

All commercially available onlay materials designed for use with titanium can be used.

To achieve long-term clinical success, follow the recommendations and instructions of the manufacturer of the onlay material.

Cobalt Chrome [CoCr]

100-mm Ø disc, CrCo based, nickel and beryllium-free. Highly resistant to corrosion.

Biocompatible material.

Manufactured under DIN EN ISO 22674:2007, Type 5 standard.

The maximum height of the rehabilitation must not exceed 24 mm.

All commercially available coating materials designed for use with cobalt chrome with a coefficient of thermal expansion CTE of 14.1μm / mK can be used.

To achieve long-term clinical success, follow the recommendations and instructions of the manufacturer of the onlay material.

Cobalt Chrome SLM [CoCr SLM]

Metallic particles sized between 10 to 40 microns, CoCr base, nickel, beryllium and gallium-free.

High corrosion resistance according to DIN EN ISO 10271 and DIN EN ISO 22674.

Biocompatible material.

Manufactured under DIN EN ISO 22674, Type 5 and DIN EN ISO 9693.

Bridges of up to 14 pieces

Pontics of up to 2 pieces

Extensions of up to 1 piece.

All commercially available coating materials designed for use with cobalt chrome with a coefficient of thermal expansion CTE of 14.1 x 10-6 K-1 can be used.

Noritake KATANA™ ML

Ø100-mm disc, zirconium base.

Excellent aesthetics and biocompatibility.

Pre-coloured, high-performance zircon discs (multi-layer).

KATANA™ ML [Multi-Layered] easily achieves aesthetic results similar to those of natural teeth thanks to its structure of four pre-coloured layers (dentine, transition layer 1 transition layer 2, enamel) .

VITABLOCS® TriLuxe forte

12x14x18mm or 14x14x18mm blocks, finely structured, multilayered  feldspar ceramic base.

This material has very similar properties to natural teeth, which ensures maximum biocompatibility.

Its abrasion behaviour is comparable to that of natural enamel.

It comprises four layers of different shades.

The colour transition from the enamel to the neck shows even finer nuances, emphasizing at the same time the chroma in the lower dentine and neck area, which together with increasing fluorescence in the cervical area, guarantees a natural colour effect even with thin layers.

Telio® CAD

Telio CAD are cross-linked PMMA discs. This material allows you to produce temporary crowns, bridges and hybrid abutment crowns. The industrial polymerization process makes the material very homogeneous. This means Telio CAD can be easily processed. Prior to insertion, you can choose whether the restoration should be polished or individualized with the stains and layering materials of the light-curing laboratory composite range.
